  The Dollar Energy Fund oversees the REACH program, and United Way Fresno and Madera Counties is a third party providing the screening process via phone and assistance with filling out an application for the REACH Program, if qualified. This program helps individuals and families in Fresno and Madera County pay for energy bill during a crisis.
  
  There are two different programs: REACH and REACH triple match. Eligibility varies based on income.
  
  REACH provides an energy credit of up to $1,000 based on the past-due balance. Past due balance cannot exceed $2,000 and must be at least $100. Household must be at or below 200% Federal Poverty Level.
  
  REACH triple match provides a triple matching payment of up to $1,000 for customers who make a payment of at least $50 towards their past due balance. Must have a past due balance of at least $200. Household must be between 200%-400% Federal Poverty Level. Must apply to REACH triple match BEFORE you make a qualifying payment. Payment must be made within 15 days of when the application is submitted.

  Walk-in's accepted Thursday April 25th 1:30pm-3:00pm at United Way Fresno and Madera Counties Office. Customers must bring with them their last utility bill and their proof of income for the last 30 days. The application must be completed by the party whose name is on the PG&E bill.

• Eligibility:
  -Customers MUST have a residential account with PG&E in the name of an adult living in the household.
  -Customer MUST owe at least $100 on their utility bill ($50 if a senior) for REACH and $200 for REACH triple match.
  -Customer past due amount MUST NOT exceed $2,000.
  -Customers MUST NOT have received REACH assistance within the past 12 months (PLEASE NOTE: REACH is available -only once within a 12-month period and customers must qualify for the program).
  -Customer income MUST NOT exceed the REACH income guidelines, which are currently 400% above the federal poverty guidelines.
  -This is not an all-inclusive list and is subject to periodic modifications. All guidelines are established by the REACH program.
